Woodworking is a very old art form but the techniques have greatly developed over time.Not only is the precise choice of materials of paramount importance but also their treatment in conjuction with a careful monitoring of the manufacturing process.

Catral Export knows and undersands these processes in detail as well as the requirements of our customers, which is why we continuosly strive to keep increasing the quality of the products and the services we provide. As a testimony of this philosophy we are proud to present ETERNIA , a new range of exclusive wood products for exteriors, distinguished by their high quality, unique design and excellent finish.

We created Eternia to satisfy the needs of our most demanding customer group, a segment characterized by its commitment to quality , service and the enviromment.

AUTOCLAVE TREATMENT
All Eternia products are subjected to a specific high-pressure autoclave treatment to ensure the protection of the wood and to prevent any damage or deterioration caused by the attack of certain fungi and insects. By applying this treatment, we are able to obtain a total protection against rot and guarantee the durability of the wood for 15 years, as certified by the German Technical Institute for Construction, the organization responsible for the control of the autoclave system for the Eternia products.

The main feature of this autoclave system is its ability to act directly on the core of the wood itself, which involves a process of drying and subsequent impregnation, resulting in a grade IV protection, the highest grade for this system.

DRYING PROCESS
All Eternia products undergo a drying process, which starts with the virgin wood, or wood that has not been previously handled. The wood is introduced in its pure state into special drying chambers to start the forming process of the wood after it has reached its optimal degree of moisture. The different elements that constitute the Eternia products are obtained in this way.

FINISH AND PRESENTATION
The product range manufactured with laminated wood provides a clear example of the available finishes, in partucular because it avoids the future appearance of cracks and/or kinks in the different elemnts. By subjecting all these products to a careful quality control, we succeed in obtaining a very specific product, capable of satisfyng the most demanding market sectors.
